Lady Captains Night.
Our night to thank our Lady Captain Siobhan Long was a great success.
The club house looked wonderful all decked out in pink and twinkling lights.
We had an excellent dinner and were entertained by line dancing, singing, and Mrs Browns Boys.
There was plenty of laughter for a great poem by Helena O’ Sullivans mother on the rusty little putter and her daughter and frien did at great job playing music for the evening.
Competition to identify some beautiful babies was a challenge as figures have changed considerably!
Vice Captain Colette spoke about her lifetime friendship with Siobhan and how the year working together had proved such a success. She recognised her great work with teams and in particular the “Get into golf” initiative which was such a success.
Siobhans sister, daughters and daughter in law were guests for the evening.
Siobhan thanked the members for their support, her family for their encouragement and her beloved Tony for standing by her.
We wish Siobhan a good rest and thank her for her hard work.
